12 wide x 28 long metre building that is 4.8 metres high at the eve. This height allows for a mezzanine floor in the office area if the client wants to install one in the future. The concrete slab is 150mm thick to allow for a truck to be parked on it without fear of the concrete cracking.
A versatile building with four separate bays, each with their own roller door. The end bay houses a office and machining workshop that is separate from the open vehicle storage area. The design and colour scheme was chosen to allow the building to blend into the surrounding landscape and not attract unwanted attention.
Full power and telephone are hooked up to the building to allow it to be used as a fully functional office. The building is fully alarmed and secure with push button entry into the man door.
This steel building was designed to house vehicles, both cars, tractors and horse trucks. The client also wanted to have a small office and a clean workshop area.
A typical car garage is six metres long, whereas this building is a spacious 12 metres. The additional space was to allow the roller door to be closed and give the client ample room to work on his cars.
The client was extremely happy with the finished building and wasn’t aware that he could get that much space around his cars. This space allowed the client to work autonomously on one car without bumping into or damaging the surrounding vehicles.
